Solution: To manage these side effects, start with smaller doses and talk with your provider to stay on a smaller dose as long as you are losing weight. Then gradually work up to the next dose and stay at that dose until you're not losing weight. Remember, losing an average of 1 lb/week over the course of a month is great progress! And it will be sustainable and easy to keep off! Incorporate foods gentle on the stomach, stay hydrated, and avoid heavy greasy meals. Many women have found that a health coach (like me!) can provide additional support, offering meal suggestions that minimize symptoms.


Making Consistent, Healthy Food Choices

Challenge: Adjusting your diet to support GLP-1 medications can be challenging, particularly for those with ingrained eating habits since we were young. Finding meals that align with your goals without feeling restrictive is key.
